The Essential Career and Employability Skills program addresses each of the six core Human Resource Development components:  gateway to employment/personal development, basic computer skills/technical awareness, career planning & assessment,  economic literacy, employability skills/mock interviews.   Instruction is designed to be self-directed, self-paced, and structured on an open-entry, open-exit basis to meet the customized needs of individuals and/or partner agencies.  The classes are fee waived for unemployed, underemployed and justice involved students.  Students may also qualify for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern NC Training Scholarship.
