Course Description

This class will give students an understanding of Artisan breads and bread productions.

Learner Outcomes

In this course, students will learn:  

  • Basic baking skills with a focus on sustainability.
  • Proper scaling and measurement techniques.
  • How to prepare and evaluate a variety of bakery products.
  • Safe food handling and sanitation.

Notes

Students will need an apron/smock, hat, slip resistant closed toe shoes.

Students must attend 80% of the class to get credit.
