Course Description

This class is for students who have a desire to learn how to make food choices that support their local community and our entire food system as a whole.

Learner Outcomes

In this course, students will learn:

  • How to prepare a variety of dishes using local ingredients.
  • How to prepare foods from seasonal ingredients.
  • How to make food choices that support their local community and our entire food system as a whole.

Notes

Uniform required: hat or hair covering, chef's coat, smock or apron and closed toe shoes.
