Course Description

This culinary class will touch on foundational, classical, regional and creative culinary appetizers that are sweet and savory for dinner and dessert. Students will also learn about appetizer presentation.

Learner Outcomes

Students will learn:

  • How to prepare savory and sweet appetizers.
  • How to plate appetizers.
  • The basic components of an appetizer.
  • Basic knife skills.

 

Notes

Students will need apron/smock, closed toe shoes and hair covering.
